The past 12 months have been an incredible period for Formula Botanica. In 2021, we have gone from strength to strength to end the year with close to 15k students spanning 179 countries. The numbers speak volumes for our school which is now globally recognised for the value and exceptional quality of its online education in the natural cosmetics’ sector. Importantly too, we have been a driving force in creating a phenomenal international community of like-minded indie formulators.
Over the past year, we have seen our graduates win hundreds of awards and see dozens launch brands. They have applied the expertise and practical skills gained on their Formula Botanica courses to start up amazing, award-winning natural skincare and haircare brands of their own. Fee increases in 2022
Going into 2022, we are committed to providing our students with the very best, life-changing skincare and haircare formulation tuition. To encourage as many potential formulators to follow in our graduates’ footsteps and start their own journeys in indie beauty, Formula Botanica has always ensured our education is as accessible and affordable as possible.
We are proud to have maintained our course fees at the same level for the past five years (since January 2017) and to have kept them steady during the past year when the pandemic put pressure on personal incomes.
However, we have taken the decision to increase our course fees from January 2022. We know that our course fees should be higher than they currently are, given everything we offer. However, we don’t want to increase the fees straight away to bring them in line with their educational value, so we’re announcing a gradual increase over the coming years. Our 2022 fees are detailed below.
The first increase will happen after our next enrolment period at the end of January 2022. January’s enrolment will be the final opportunity to benefit from 2021 course fees which is why we recommend you pre-enrol now so you don’t miss out.
Why we are increasing our fees
Over the past five years, we have invested heavily in our school, our team, our courses and online infrastructure and our students’ experience to maintain our exceptionally high standards.
From offering a single course in 2014 when we launched, the school has grown to provide a portfolio of some 10 courses and programs. To provide this depth and breadth while raising the bar on our own exacting standards, Formula Botanica has grown. We now have a team of over 40 staff dedicated to supporting our students and graduates and developing our specialist course material.
The beauty industry is one of the most dynamic and exciting. Now, we have even greater capacity to reflect its changes – from new ingredients and issues such as sustainability to beauty trends on social media – to benefit our students’ learning experience.
The range and value we offer, the experience our students receive when they study with us – and beyond, as we support and promote our graduate brands – is worth much more than we currently charge.
Above all, a Formula Botanica-accredited education stands for excellence and competence and is highly valued in the industry. It provides indie beauty entrepreneurs with credibility of being formulators, not just founders, as they launch their own brands.
For all these reasons and more, we are increasing our course fees in 2022.
Pre-enrol to gain 2021 fees
If you are considering a Formula Botanica course as a route to changing your life through natural cosmetic formulation, you can pre-enrol to benefit from 2021 course fees during our January 2022 enrolment. This will be your final chance to pay the current fees before they increase for our spring 2021 term.
