Formula Botanica is very active on Instagram and we love to share our organic cosmetic formulation tips. We also try to inspire you with our beautiful photography by our in-house photographer Richard Cottle.
Did you see our recent series on how to use rosemary in natural skincare and organic cosmetics? We’ve summarised our 8 favourite photos on rosemary natural skincare below and hope you enjoy them.
Rosemary in Natural Skincare
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is deep green in colour and pungent in fragrance. Some of the different cosmetic ingredients derived from Rosemary include:
* Rosemary essential oil
* Rosemary CO2 extract
* Rosemary oleoresin
* Rosemary hydrosol
* Rosemary infused oil
* Rosemary tincture
* Rosemary leaf powder
* Rosemary flower wax
Cosmetic extracts are created from the leaves, flowers and stem – or the entire plant. And that list doesn’t even include any of the individual cosmetic compounds that are found in Rosemary – such as rosmarinic acid, carnosic acid or caffeic acid. We love this amazing plant.
