As artisan skincare formulators, you might be familiar with this fear of failure – the crushing feeling you experience when a lotion separates, the disappointment when your emulsion doesn’t remain stable, the irritation when your preservative fails, the frustration when your skincare product smells or looks horrible, or simply doesn’t do what it says it’s supposed to do, the fear that your customers might hate your products or that you might not make any money.
