Formula Botanica helped brand owner and formulator Tiffany to move away from vague internet recipes to formulate KLAY as a commercial cosmetics line built on precision, high performance and safety. Tiffany now has deep understanding about which ingredients work well together and of the regulatory and commercial environment underpinning natural cosmetic formulation, such as the essential oil dermal limits required for different areas of the skin. Knowing this, she says, is the key to successful product making.
