Brand overview

Judith Pluviose is a wife, mother of two boys, an attorney-at-law, a self-taught artist, and a Certified Skincare formulator. Judith discovered her love of art three years ago at a class and immediately realised that she could rely on her creative side to help her cope with the stress of her full-time, demanding legal career.

Judith’s natural artistic skills inspired her to become an organic skincare formulator too. Just as in her art, formulating clean and safe skincare products allows Judith to use her creativity, especially in choosing ingredients for their beneficial and aesthetic properties. As Judith was already frustrated by the lack of healthy options within the beauty world, she founded Beautélanin Skincare. A clean skincare brand, Beautélanin, the brand name, is a portmanteau word created from the French word for beauty – beauté – and the word melanin.

Formula Botanical helped Judith turn her passion into something she loves. She is an attorney by profession, but through Formula Botanica, Judith has found her purpose too.
