Cotswold Remedies started life as a passionate hobby, but with the help of Formula Botanica, founder Helen Ray finally took the plunge to turn it into a business after lockdown. The brand offers a growing range of award-winning, natural skincare and wellbeing products that are all handmade in Cheltenham. As we age, our skin needs a different balance of nutrients, so the products are designed to work with these changing needs – to embrace the beauty in ageing rather than deny it. Cotswold Remedies refuses to compromise on quality in favour of cost and only uses 100% natural (organic where possible), vegan-friendly and ethically sourced essential oils and botanicals. All their products are formulated with the wellbeing of the planet as well as that of their customers in mind and packaged in recyclable glass and card from sustainably managed forests.

Formula Botanica helped Helen by giving her the confidence to launch her brand safely. She says that the course explains clearly the legal and testing requirements for launching beauty products.
