The brand combines traditional African knowledge with modern skincare science to create effective, natural, organic, cruelty-free, and sustainable products. The essence of Nashé Beauty lies in its love for others and the planet. It is a social enterprise committed to empowering women not only through beauty but also through education. A percentage of its profits will go directly to the EMM Foundation to support women and children in marginalised communities in Africa and Canada.
Facing unemployment in 2019, Jestina thought that, at her stage in life, there was little hope of finding regular employment again. Jestina came across Formula Botanica while she was actively looking for an online course in natural skincare formulation. Formula Botanica helped her improve her formulation skills and become more confident in creating unique, high-performance formulations using well-researched natural ingredients. Jestina credits Formula Botanica with helping her find herself again and a purpose in life. “I feel and look much younger than I did when I had a job because I enjoy what I do now,” Jestina says.
