Lothian Lavender, founded by Sue in 2010, started out as a company that crafted dried lavender gifts from home-grown lavender. Over the years, the brand expanded its offerings by distilling this lavender into pure essential oil. In 2022, Sue embarked on her formulation journey by enrolling in the Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation with Formula Botanica.
Through her studies, she learned to create natural skincare formulas from scratch to develop a new skincare line for her business. Today, Sue continues to innovate and develop new natural skincare products, drawing on the knowledge gained from her studies.
Sue attributes her expertise in formulating skincare products to Formula Botanica, acknowledging the knowledge and hands-on experience she gained. She particularly credits the school for empowering her to create formulas from scratch and develop exciting new products using the brand’s farm-grown lavender oil.
