Flor y Amor is a natural skincare company based in Tenerife, Spain, founded by Kathryn Atkins. Kathryn saw first-hand the incredible results that can be achieved through plant-powered skincare and this inspired her to launch Flor y Amor which offers sustainable, vegan and natural products that are highly effective on the skin. The brand will soon have a haircare range to offer customers too. All the products have a foundation in aromatherapy, are handcrafted using high-quality ingredients and infused with love. Formula Botanica gave Kathryn the expertise and confidence to create safe skincare as this was an area where she felt she was lacking vital skills. Even though she is an aromatherapist and was familiar with blending carrier oils and essential oils, Kathryn credits the training she gained at Formula Botanica with giving her the skills and know-how to make emulsion creams and to understand the safety and preservation issues inherent in creating consumer cosmetics.
