Authentic House makes refillable skincare from upcycled and organic ingredients. Alice started her small business in Cardiff in 2018 to explore ways to reduce waste and live more sustainably. Since beginning as a small shop, Alice learned what made great sustainable products but was unable to find eco-friendly options that worked for her skin. After the challenging years of the pandemic, Alice found Formula Botanica and learned to formulate her own products. A year later, in 2023, she launched her first cleansing cream, serum and moisturiser, combining organic butters, oils and hydrolats with upcycled ingredients from juicing, distilling and brewing. Authentic House is approved under The Leaping Bunny programme and is a certified member of 1% for the Planet.
