Guided by the philosophy that less is more, BIOYOND focuses on purposeful formulations that work with the skin’s natural intelligence. The brand’s name reflects this vision – BIO, rooted in nature and skin biology, and beyond, moving past excess, trends, and shortcuts. Each product is created with restraint, clarity, and respect for healthy ageing, offering skincare designed to evolve with the skin through every stage of life.

Lana credits Formula Botanica as a foundational turning point in bringing BIOYOND to life. “Before joining Formula Botanica, I had the passion, but not the scientific structure or professional framework I needed,” she says. “I didn’t want to just make products – I wanted to create skincare that was safe, effective, and truly credible.” Through the courses, she developed a strong understanding of cosmetic science, ingredient functionality, formulation structure, preservation, stability, safety, and skin biology – essential skills for building a real skincare brand.

She explains that the biggest shift was moving from intuition to intention. “Formula Botanica taught me how to formulate with purpose,” Lana shares. “I learned how to design products based on skin needs rather than trends, how to adjust textures, optimise performance, and troubleshoot formulations with confidence.” The structured approach, practical tools, and business-focused education helped her move from experimentation to creating market-ready products she personally uses and confidently offers – from cleansers and serums to creams and balms.

Equally important was the Formula Botanica community. “Being surrounded by like-minded formulators made me feel supported and understood,” Lana reflects. “Seeing others succeed helped me believe that building a values-led skincare brand was truly possible.” Today, BIOYOND Natural Skincare reflects that journey – a brand built on clarity, respect for the skin, and formulation choices made with integrity and intention.
