Clivina Wills, a nature lover and adventure seeker, founded The Intrepid Explorer, a brand that is passionate about nature, exploring, and sensible, low-waste ways to care for our bodies. Clivina wanted to create products that were not only good for the planet and our skin but also easy to take with you on your travels and simple to use. Clivina got tired of having to lug around products that were over 90% water when water was readily available in most places she travelled, be it from streams, rain, or piped water. Combining her skills as a qualified natural skincare formulator and her love of nature, she knew there was a solution to this issue. The Intrepid Explorer offers either concentrated (body wash) or dual-purpose (sunscreen and insect repellent) products to cut down on the number of cosmetics that you need to travel with. All ingredients used do not harm nature in any way.

Graduating from Formula Botanica inspired Clivina to start her own outdoor brand. She says the courses gave her the full grounding she needed to build her brand and formulate her products the right way.
