The core values behind Ouli’s Ointment were shaped by founder Stephanie Malcom’s experiences as a new mother combined with her 15 years as a makeup artist, and influenced too by her Greek heritage. Throughout her career, countless models came to her with raw, inflamed skin that was crying out for immediate, soothing relief. In addition, they needed a protective primer for the extensive amounts of makeup they had applied on them every day.

Having worked with so many faces and skin types, and appreciating the beauty of this diversity, Stephanie knew she wanted to create products that not only delivered nourishing comfort and a healthy glow, but also had the ability to adapt to all skin types and needs.

Ouli’s Ointment sources organic, antioxidant-rich ingredients from exclusive suppliers around the world as well as sustainable packaging that preserves the efficacy of these ingredients. With the knowledge Stephanie gained from Formula Botanica, she is now able to go deep into researching ingredients and to ensure they are sustainable, high quality and efficacious for her products’ needs.

Since day one, her brand’s products have been carefully crafted to nourish the skin and soul offering soothing relief that makes her customers feel like the best version of themselves. With overall well-being as its top priority, Ouli’s Ointment is proud to donate a percentage of its sales to local non-profits that make the world a better place.

Formula Botanica gave Stephanie the knowledge to manufacture in house. Now, as she has reached the stage of using an outsourced manufacturer, Stephanie knows the ins and outs of what she wants for her brand, what is possible because of what she has learned with Formula Botanica and why she will insist on retaining control and ownership of Ouli’s formulas.
