Naked Kitty Co. was created out of founder Sara Robertson’s love for skincare products, and a childhood of relentless potion-making. She fell down the formulation rabbit hole in 2016 and has created carefully handcrafted, small batches of skin and body care products ever since. Sara is a Formula Botanica graduate with an Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science, and focuses on product effectiveness and safety. Formula Botanica helped her grow her business by improving her knowledge of formulation, product testing, safety and GMP. It provided her with the qualifications to stand out in the province of Saskatchewan. She is the first person/BIPOC in the province to have a formulation diploma from Formula Botanica and is sought after for her expertise in formulation and skincare. Naked Kitty products are made for everyone with any skin type, regardless of cat lover status. Formula Botanica provided her with qualifications that improved how she is perceived, which has helped her brand become more sought after by new wholesalers.
